My Experience with this assignment

The process and methods i went through to get the whole assignment completed

In attempting to accomplish the task at hand, it was important that i familiarize myself with every aspect of HTML coding at the level at which we had been taught, in order to be well -equipped and informed. I also took it upon myself to research other codes to assist me in the creation process. Through trial and error i managed to create a web page to the best of my ability.

The technologies/tools I learned and used during this assignment

One of the tools that i learned is Marquee. This when text or an image is made to move across the page in a specified direction or manner. i familiarized myself with the codes for this feature. I made it so that it is the icon for blog spot that is moving across the screen, then used that image as an anchor to my blog. The advantage of doing this is more aesthetic than anything else.

The experience/difficulty in debugging the HTML codes in getting the output I wanted

Prior to doing this assignment, my HTML capabilities were very minimal. Though i'm still a novice, i think i have learnt a lot. I had a bit of difficulty actually figuring the codes out as well as figuring out where to place them. i decided to keep my page as simple as possible to avoid confusing myself with complex coding.

The experience/difficulty in searching/choosing the suitable web hosting server

I didn' t really have any kind of experience or faced any difficulties, i just picked the web hosting software randomly

The experience/difficulty in uploading the files to the web server.

I faced to difficulties whatsoever. The web hosting server i chose is incredibly user friendly.

The process and experience/difficulty in creating a blog and learning how to use a blog

This process was very simple as well.

Conclusion

In completing this assignment, i have gained an immense amount of knowledge about HTML coding as well as improvement on my general computer literacy. I have learnt that one of the key ways of acieving the result one desires is to go back and forth between the HTML codes and the actual web page to ensure that the codes being used are giving the right output. Also i learned that it is necessary to upload the web page along with any other files that contain anything used on that page e.g. images. If i were to do this assignment again, i would probably be more adventurous with the design since i am now a little bit more comfortable with the various codes
